• The company’s market watcher, iSuppli. 2008 is a year of disaster for most of the memory chip manufacturing. Revenue for nearly all of the suppliers decreased and the results are all negative for the semiconductor industry.

    Dale Ford, senior Vice President of market intelligence services at iSuppli, stated that global semiconductor revenue is expected to rise two percent in 2008 from the sales of memory IC (Integrated circuits) of 16.9 percent. Only two of 29 IC suppliers are likely to increase in income in the year 2008, and the other, consider that in 2008 only disasters that obtainable. Read more…
