UPS
Some UPS of PC are also equipped with the function of AVR (auto voltage regulator). Additional functions allow AVR to protect from Sag voltage, voltage spike, brownout, and over voltage. Maintain output voltage (voltage output remain stable. Sometimes there are on-line interactive UPS).
Battery
Work to save power in the UPS. When it is normal flow of electricity, DC supply and battery charger fill capacity. When the electricity is blackout, inverter takes power from the battery to share output power from UPS.
Black out
electric power become off. The signature is most easily seen, with the unavailability of electric power, the balk of the local electricity network or the MCB from PLN. It’s sometimes called outages.
DC Supply & Charger
The duty of components are changing the voltage AC into DC for battery charging process and to share power transfer switch.
Frequency
Electricity AC (alternate current). In the AC power sine wave established with a certain frequency. For example, AC220V with frequency 50Hz is most used in Indonesia.
Transfer Switch
This Components manage the flow of power options. If the electric power is normal, transfer switch is on using. If the power switches off, the power transfers to switch directly from the battery that has been converted into electricity by AC inverter.
Under voltage
under voltage is also known as a brownout voltage (voltage) low for a long time. Usually can be indicated from overcast fluorescent light, the fan speed slowed down, even fluorescent light is failed to start. This disruption can occur due to any device with an overheating motor.
Voltage Sag
Voltage Sag, the decreasing of voltage below the average in a very short time (the period of 112 AC power up to 1 minute). For 220V/50 Hz AC power means more than 1 / 100 seconds. Indicated by beeping of fluorescent light
